RICH FISHER'S USNA / MVS EXPERIENCE

U.S. Naval Academy / Mobile Video Services, LTD
1998 - 1999

Mobile Video Services LTD (MVS) is a Washington DC based company that is contracted to staff the United States Naval
Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. MVS was my employer even though I worked at The Naval Academy. My title was "Production
Supervisor" which meant that I was in charge of all in house and out going video for the Academy. I supervised a small
staff of videographers/editors and I was in charge of meeting all video deadlines. I wrote scripts for long form videos,
short promos for Navy Sports, and departmental promos. I was in charge of videotaping Navy Football and Basketball games
both home and away, and compiling highlights videos to promote Navy sports to the public. I shot footage for most local
Baltimore and Washington TV stations, as well as Discovery Network, History Channel, and Home Team Sports. We shot and
edited training videos, concerts, speaking videos, plays, and CDROMs. I worked closely with Public Affairs to actively
promote the Naval Academy to local residents, as well as for national recruitment.
